Rob Fenix
"Popping Free-Hand Glow Performer"
Rob Fenix originally from California, started his free-handing career inside the rave scene out of the Bay area in the early 90's. He then migrated to Phoenix, Arizona where he perfected his skills in the underground drum and bass scene, then later into trance and breaks. For a short while he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah for 3 years and was discovered by Twilight Entertainment. He received the nick name Fenix there due to his fast liquid style and his origins from Phoenix, Arizona. Rob was quickly recognized by the Salt Lake community as one of the top freehand performers in the city and was quickly know city wide. In 2008, Rob was discovered by the widely known DJ group Infected Mushroom. He went on tour with Infected Mushroom for 3 months around the West Coast on their 2008 Night of the Pharos Tour. After Robs time with Infected Mushroom, he made the move back to what he considers home in Arizona. He is now apart of The Dirt Assasinz Crew in Phoenix and is dancing and promoting for the crew and helping the progression in electronic music and Broken beats in the valley of the sun.

Fenix is dedicated to the awareness expansion and elevation of electronic music, dance culture, and history. Fenix style is liquid popping and free-hand glowsticking. Liquid popping and Free-handing is a combination of two underground forms of dance. Liquid is a part of popping which originated in the emerging Hip Hop culture of the late 70's and early 80's. During the expansion of the electronic music culture in the late 80's and early 90's, the dedicated dancers in the scene took the founding principles of liquid from popping and applied it to the evolving sound of electronic music. During that time liquid evolved along with the electronic music scene and has become its own dance preformed by many, MASTERED BY FEW....
